SCHEDULE – TAJ MAHAL DAY TRIP
Early morning pick up from your place of stay and transfer to New Delhi Railway Station to board Shatabdi Express for Agra.
0615 Hrs : Departure from Delhi
0827 Hrs : Arrival in Agra
Arrive Agra and proceed straight to Fatehpur Sikri .
Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar’s City of victory lies on a hill top almost 40 kms from Agra built in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water .
Return back to Agra and break for a lunch at Hotel Taj View .
Post lunch visit the majestic Agra Fort. Afternoon visit to the Agra Fort, with magnificient halls of private and public audiences and other places.
Next visit the Taj Mahal ( Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays), built by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains .
Evening transfer back to railway station to board Shatabdi for Delhi.
2043 Hrs : Departure from Agra
2300 Hrs: Arrival in Delhi
On Arrival in Delhi transfer to your place of stay.
